Spode's Blenheim pattern dates to 1815. The hand-coloured sprigging of English fruits and leaves is typical of many early Spode patterns. Spode brought back Blenheim in 1957, on superior bone china, using the original Regimental Cottage shapes. The reintroduced pattern was produced until 1974, and this particular set was made in 1961. The honey gold trim on each piece makes it unsafe to use in microwave ovens. Each of the twelve cups and saucers measure 2.5"H X 2.75"W. The condition is good, with no evidence of any wear, damage, repairs or even usage. There are no marks or flaws, whatsoever.
