Vintage hand painted pitcher depicting a lemon motif.These lovely old pitchers were used to serve lemonade and cider traditionally.While it does not have a maker's mark, there are letters embossed under the glaze on bottom which state "J4W0 1/2."Comparable to other pitchers I found researching, most are from Bavaria, France and other European countries.Age is estimated.

6 1/2" high to top of spout, 6" high to top of handle, 8" spout to handle, approx 7" across widest part near bottom.
