This pitcher is from the Savoie region of France.Antique redware pottery often comes in earth tones of rust, green, brown, and yellow. This pottery was country pottery and meant to be used. I love this unique style of pottery, it is so fun to mix and match the different patterns.This piece has been signed on the bottom by the potter.It is beautifully worn for over a century of use.
