This pair of vintage Chan’s Waikiki (New Jersey) Flipper mugs in green were made by OMC of Japan. Vintage tiki mugs areoften highly sought after & collectible, especially this or any other design made by OMC. Most highly valued are the mugs manufactured before the era when the name of the sponsoring business was incorporated into the design of the mug. These tiki are 6.5 inches tall and have a gold interior finish.
“This tiki mug is green and is of a smiling tiki with a very large nose. The tiki's headdress comes down the side, as is sometimes seen with Kus, and there is an "X" pattern along the top rim. OMC sticker on bottom. This version was manufactured for Chan's Waikiki, Paramus, NJ. “
